Albert Lenhard Family Scholarship

The Albert Lenhard Family Scholarship Fund was established in 1985

through a bequest of the estate of Albert M. Lenhard. The Scholarship was

developed to assist applicants who wanted to continue their formal education

beyond high school at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

To be eligible for the Scholarship the candidate will have to be residing in

the geographic boundaries of the Catholic Churches of Central Buffalo: (Blessed

Trinity, SS Columba Brigid, St. Ann, St. Katherine Drexel, St. Lawrence and St.

Martin De Porres).

The recipients of the 2017 Scholarship this year were both from St. Ann’s

prior to its closing. One of our Altar Servers, Christopher Augustin, a Senior at

Canisius High School, and Jean Bosco Ndayishimiye, husband and father of

four, who’s working on his LPN license. Congratulations. You’re both so

deserving. They both attend Mass at SS. Columba-Brigid’s where Fr. Roy

Herberger is the pastor.
